Keith Brown of Triad Watch is an expert at finding important nuggets of information in public documents, then burying them deep in a blog post. The meat is that Mayor Bill Knight's end-of-year campaign finance report fails to report the professions of twenty-one donors as required by state law.
Keith has found this kind of deficiency before among the reports of local elected officials and each time it has been revealed, it has been met with an amended filing to rectify the shortcomings. Hopefully our esteemed mayor will do the same.
