(Greensboro, NC). I saw on the city council agenda for tonight's meeting a change to the franchise fee paid by telecommunications companies for the public right of way they use for fiberoptic cable.

Accommodating Google?

Unfortunately, no. The city says they've had no communications from Google regarding our proposal since confirmation of its receipt. But, we did get a shoutout in Google's thank you video.
