District 3 council candidate Hartzman reneges on campaign financing promise

Greensboro city council district 3 candidate George Hartzman on campaign contributions:

"Hartzman has said that he will not take money from political action committees or accept campaign contributions of more than $100." -- Yes!Weekly, 8/12/2009

"I’m not taking more than $100 from anyone." -- George Hartzman, News & Record, 9/8/2009

According to George Hartzman's campaign finance report filed with the Guilford County Board of Elections, he has accepted individual contributions of $1,000 and $500, the $1,000 contribution coming more than a week before the News & Record reported him saying that he was "not taking more than $100 from anyone."
