Fact checking candidates
This is the kind of thing I think of as good journalism, doing the follow up non-reporters don't have the time to do for the purpose of holding those who would represent us accountable: The (Greensboro, NC) News & Record Gerald Witt fact checks district four city council candidates. I hope we'll see more of this.

roch, also remember that joel might be talking about a number he saw this year because this was a long session on state level and usually the bills are double a short session like gerald said last fiscal year which was 2008 short session.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a good foi request to terry wood to get a total that they pay cam cover. Also remember cam cover is paid under some other department not the attorney's budget which is also a joke.

ReplyDeleteWhat about the $100,000.00, incentive that was given to a company that supposedly turning the old Jefferson Pilot property on High Point Road, into a assisted living entity? The one Robbie Perkins recused himself from voting on, because he has some interests in this project. We haven't heard much of an update on this matter.
