Roch not to be obtuse but how exactly were the reports exaggerated? Was it the number of kids involved or the number of fights?
ReplyDeleteNot obtuse. Good question. It appears that five or six teenagers and young adults got into two or three fights over a period of four hours or so that, on one occasion, may have caused scores of people—among a few hundred that were downtown at the time—to run scared.
ReplyDeleteNow, that may seem overly specific, but it conforms with the available facts. "Hundreds of students got into several fights" or a "Massive brawl" as WGHP reported is just simply not supported by the available facts.
As I've said, if there is more evidence to come, it will change the narrative, but we haven't seen it.
