Making it up

Jim Rumley wrote a Facebook post this evening that I thought was spot on and worth noting:

"Today we honor one of the great Republicans of the last century. Someone that gave his life for the ideals of the party of Lincoln. He lived the words of charity to all and malice to none. He fought for the right of the individual and their right to be judged by the content of their character not the color of their skin. He was the head of the teaparty [sic] movement of his time - individuals fighting the establishment. Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King."

Yeah. That's why King was such a big fan of Barry Goldwater: Debunked. But kudos to Sam for determining the misinformation to be "spot on."
