GREENSBORO, NC -- I'm all for entrepreneurial success, but profiting from taxpayer largess is not capitalism, it is a bamboozle.

The guy who lives in this $680,000 4,000 square feet house wants the Guilford County Commissioners to give $40,000 to a sports event his company is managing at the Greensboro Coliseum. The Commissioners should decline. It is not the taxpayers' responsibility to keep entrepreneurs living in the style to which they have grown accustomed.
