Fec on Guilford County's website fiasco

This circumstance is a fucking outrage and someone on county staff should be handed their ass for it. Hundreds of local capable IT professionals remained without jobs while this sweetheart deal went on under their noses.

Employees at the upper echelons of Guilford County's information technology staff are being paid well over $100,000 per year. For that kind of money, we deserve competence. Unable to build a sufficient website themselves and unable to evaluate the fitness of the vendor who fell down on the job at a public cost of $40,000, someone or multiple someones should indeed be shown the door. We should not permit the coddling of incompetence.
