You probably already have your email program configured not to load images by default and up-to-date anti-virus software that scans your email messages... right?
Even so, I got an email today that looks like trouble. I haven't tried to confirm my suspicions, but if you get an email with the subject "Greensboro Savings & Specials," be advised that it attempts to load an application octet stream from a domain name registered just nine days ago. Seriously suspicious. You probably should delete this email without opening it if you are the least bit uncertain of the strength of your anti-virus protection.
Thanks. I get email offers everday for things ranging from pizzas to guitars so it's possible I would've opened this without paying attention. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, we appreciate the heads up on rooms-to-go!
