A grand jury has indicted a person in the case of
my stolen lawnmower. The indictments are for larceny, possession of stolen property and, because he pawned it, obtaining property by false pretense. The person may plead guilty at an upcoming court date or plead not guilty and demand a jury trial, which could put resolution months away.
Good to hear. I was wondering what happened with that. I doubt you were the only victim.
ReplyDeleteMy next door neighbor had her lawn mower stolen the week before.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to sharing some details later, in brief, the police did an excellent job.
It's hard for us, who aren't involved with police work, to understand that these things take time. Will you get the mower back after he pleads guilty/is convicted?
ReplyDeleteMy lawnmower has already been retrieved and is waiting for me to pick it up, which one can only do from 1 to 4 on Fridays.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
