One of the drawbacks of audio on the web is that there is no good way to skim through it to see if anything catches your interest. About the best you can do is take someone's recommendation.
I recommend this clip for one of the things audio on the web can do well: It can give you a "fly on the wall" sense of where someone is coming from and what they are about, much more so than a written report of an interview.
I am no fan of the "achievements" of the state legislature's Democratic leadership, and the accusations against Rep. Cary Allred, an Alamance County Republican, sound, at first blush, political and petty, still it is illuminating to hear Mark Binker ask some tough questions, Allred's responses (especially the "Uhhhhhhh..." to "Had you been drinking?") and his insistence that he will eventually be "venerated."
