The News & Record's Doug Clark doesn't like the Department of Justice poking around the Greensboro Police Department.
He is on firm ground with his objections. For, when the News & Record was getting the facts wrong on issues of supposed racism in the GPD, then refusing to correct the record as new facts came to light, it was Doug who spoke up against the shoddy practices of his paper. It was he who insisted that the community know the truth and he who demanded that the News & Record's mission was to follow the facts, not an agenda. He had the foresight to anticipate the negative consequences of misinformation uncorrected and the fortitude to speak up against it.
Huh? What's that?
Doug did no such thing?
Oh. Never mind.
