I was listening to Brad and Britt on WZTK FM Talk 101.1 this morning and I heard a caller bemoaning the fact that, despite both presidential candidates now promising change, he had no idea what kind of change was being proposed -- that the details are missing.
Look, if you find yourself of the same opinion as the caller, there are two possibilities. Either there are no details to be found or you are getting your information from sources that don't offer details. Which is more likely?
The details are indeed out there. If you don't have them, make a concerted effort to change your information gathering efforts. If you plop yourself down in front of Fox and Friends every morning or tune into Michael Savage every evening and find yourself coming up short on knowledge, maybe you are wasting time with the wrong media. Take some initiative. Try different programs, spend an hour on the Net Googling topics of interest to you. Read some national magazines. Ask your friends where to turn. The information is out there. Go get it.
Right on, people are just so apathetic, its like they programmed you in high school to walk with the rest of the herd regardless of your own personal opinion.
