Boss Carroll and Greensboro's noise ordinance hullabaloo

Weekly, on the heels of their exposé of the public costs of defending lawsuits alleging discrimination in the Greensboro Police Department, uncovers records documenting the genesis of the recent downtown noise hullabaloo, including this gem from local developer, campaign contributor and downtown residential high-rise owner Roy Carroll to an assistant city manager:

"I would like for officers to be stationed in front of the [Green Street] club and monitor the noise for the next few Sunday nights."
