Everything else aside, this has been one of my main concerns. If we must build this facility then we should go all out and build the best "aquatics center" that we can. Unfortunately, voters did not approve a bond for a world class facility and we may end up stuck with a dump that won't bring in the expected business.
None of this would be an issue if the ballot language was a fair representation of what proponents really wanted. I am all for putting a project on the ballot that will end up being a world class competitive swim center.
