Well, yes, but talk about missing the importance of the story; talk about spinning. The real matter is that the City has 343 miles of streets in need of immediate repair and the 32 streets it will repair amount to a drop in the bucket—a mere 10.4 miles or 3% of the immediate need.

There is another issue, Roch. Apparently the City Manager admitted in a meeting with citizens present that the roads were in poor condition because the road budget had been diverted to other projects. When asked what other projects she would not say.
ReplyDeleteRumors are that some of the road budget went into building the aquatic center but I've no way to prove it.
As usual, if they would only answer questions...
