On the heels of public revelations that the United States National Security Agency has the capabilities of collecting "a broad spectrum of user data from smart phones," comes Apple's announcement that its new phone will now
also collect fingerprints.

Was the N.S.A. right, are smartphone users zombies or just confident in the perpetual good intentions of government?
