Four days ago, on Monday, I wrote about the decline of the News & Record under the leadership of publisher Robins Saul and criticism of his job performance by some local heavy hitters. Some of my comments were about a broken organizational structure that keeps even the simplest of problems on their website from being corrected.
I offered as examples the "2009" in the site's current election news feed, which remains unchanged, and the main page of the opinion section of the website promoting three columnists who have long since stopped writing for the N&R as being available in the "e-edition" (or as Ed Cone rightly calls it, "the Google-proof vault"), which also remains uncorrected and thus pretty much amounts to false advertising, I'd say.
