Such is the case with this outstanding piece by Susan Ladd in which she demonstrates the moral and intellectual superiority attainable when talking about racism in Greensboro when one rises above generalities, pettiness and tired old rhetoric. It's one of the best things I've read at the News & Record in a long time. Read it.
