While eating lunch just now, I was watching some kind of "Republican health care" gathering on capitol hill on FoxNews. A congressman from Missouri was introduced to lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Before doing so, he took the opportunity to say a few brief words about how the phrase "under God" certainly belongs in the Pledge. Among his reasons: "It drives the liberals crazy."
The congressman then proceeded to lead the pledge and promptly forgot the words.
