Guilford County School Board candidate Erik Huey blogged today excerpts from School Board Candidate David Crawford's MySpace page.
Crawford's blurb begins with "David Crawford for School Board at Large Crawford on the Issues..." and proceeds to copy from Cobb County (Georgia) School Board Candidate John Crooks' web site. Except for the removal of references to Cobb County-specific information, Crawford copies Crooks word-for-word and without attribution. Guilford County students get Fs for plagiarism. What was Crawford thinking?

Gee, it sounds to me as if Mr. Crawford is ideally suited for our Guilford County School Board. As he is so obviously brainless he will fit right in. BB
Actually, Brenda, we have some very intelligent people on our school board. Not that that will curb your blanket throwing statements or anything... but thought you ought to know.
Roch, A commenter at my site suggests that Crawford is suffering from a brain injury. Have you heard this?
David Darlin' actions always speak louder than words and if these very intelligent people were as intelligent as you maintain then we should have seen some signs of it. As we have only seen bungling, over-payments for construction, catering to incompetent contractors, following blindly a school administration whose CEO had only the padding of his own resume as his chief goal rather than educating children and some of the worse schools in a state of poor schools, I will stand by my comment. Why do you refer to David as "Darlin'" when clearly you don't believe him to be "Darlin'" at all? You use terms of endearment often when it appears you don't mean them. This strikes me as disingenuous. If you don't say what you mean in THIS way, how can you expect us to take anything you say seriously?
Sorry to be off-topic Roch. It's something I've noticed about BB's "style" and was curious.
I don't recall seeing anything like that reported, David. I'd like to know if I missed it.

New to the race is Teresa Sue Bratton of Greensboro. I met her at a Democratic gathering Tuesday night. She is a pediatric allergist and says she got into the race after being aggravated by Republican incumbent Howard Coble's vote against SCHIP expansion. I go to GTCC in Jamestown. For fun me and 5 People went to the early voting location in JamesTown, We went from 11 a.m. till 2 a.m. we ask people who thay was voting for, 79 % of the people we ask said Crawford!You know if he wins with that high of a turn over it would be no way any one but him could win!
