Good blog. Sort of got depressed when I saw a old 19th century freight box being sent to Google a 21st century company. The same day GSO sent the freight box ("GSO is all wrapped up in Google"), Google had an article on how they could now translate in 56 different languages accurately. Why stress our diversity when we can stress that GSO is right out of the 19th century. The campaign is way off the track.

ReplyDeleteThe cargo crate was inspired by the original concept of "Operation Google," dreamed up by city council person Danny Thompson.
ReplyDeleteRFL decided to change that to "Google Greensboro," thus diluting the original meaning of the crate to it current absurdity.
