GREENSBORO, NC -- Mike Barber, candidate for Greensboro City Council at-large has added his profile to GreensboroCouncilCandidates.com.
Barber, 51, works as a an attorney and is CEO of The First Tee of The Triad. He is registered as Democratic. He says his
three top issues are job growth, community safety and fiscal management.
In
answer to what he will do, specifically, to increase transparency in
city government, he says, "Recommend utilizing key word software that places most emails on a
server and available to the public, which will also reduce the high
volume of public record requests and cost. Create a panel to review
other correspondence and flagged emails. Create a 3rd public monthly
meeting for speakers which actually allows for discussion between
council members and public.
