I was shooting the breeze with city council representative Danny Thompson before Wednesday evening's Google meeting. I said to him, if we can get this ultra high speed internet access, along with our three runways, overnight cargo hub, intersection of three interstate highways and possibly being a destination along the proposed high speed rail corridor, Greensboro could become The Big Speedy.
Sure, it is funny considering our laid back history. Even where we are, it's less than genuine. But as far as where we might go? The Big Speedy. Why not?
