GREENSBORO, NC -- According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations, circulation continues to decline for the News & Record.
Averages for the six months ended September 31, 2010:
Sunday: 86,087
6 month change: - 3.6% (-3,188)
12 month change: - 6.0% (-5,512)
Weekday: 62,074
6 month change: -8.2% (-5,551)
12 month change: -12.1% (-8,543)
Since 2005, the N&R's weekday circulation has declined 34.7% from 95,119 while Sunday circulation has declined 23.2% from 112,154.
I can fix that for them if they like, but it would require a black van with surveillance equipment parked outside the mayors house.
