Thanks for the comment, Fred. Doug was writing about the race for the "Elmore" seat. Calabria is also running for reelection, she has two challengers, all described in the voters guide linked to above.
I am sure it was an oversight but Doug did not mention Ann Marie Calabria who is running for a seat on the NC Court of Appeals
